You might have heard a lot about blockchain and the disruption its bringing along with itself. Blockchain is a new kind of system with no central authority powered by the people who joined it for the people. It was designed to eliminate the need of a central authority by distributing information previously held in a centralized ledger across a network of computers. It by default brings in Trust and Transparency which is at core of its design philosophy. I am now going to take you through a use case of blockchain without diving too much into its technicalities.
Decentralization is Better : “A lot of people automatically dismiss e-currency as a lost cause because of all the companies that failed since the 1990’s. I hope it’s obvious it was only the centrally controlled nature of those systems that doomed them. I think this is the first time we’re trying a decentralized, non-trust-based system.” — Satoshi Nakamoto on P2PFoundation

You all might have heard the quote “you can’t manage what you can’t measure” by Peter Drucker. A product manager most of the time have to deal with metrics to continuously improve a product. Defining the right metric can be sometimes a difficult task as getting it wrong at first place will derail your product from the right course. Also getting to the right metric may take you some time if you recently started working on a new project. Few weeks back I found myself caught up in the same problem. After a little bit of online search and a brilliant udemy course, i came across “HEART Framework” — a way to choose right UX Metrics by Kerry Roden Continue reading “Define the right metrics using HEART framework”

Welcome to the Modern World!!!Are you real? Here’s the reality truly explained in Mr Robot.
A world built on fantasy! Synthetic emotions in the form of pills, psychological warfare in the form of advertising,mind-altering chemicals in the form of food, brainwashing seminars in the form of media, controlled isolated bubbles in the form of social networks.
We haven’t lived in anything remotely close to it since the turn of the century. We turned it off, took out the batteries, snacked on a bag of GMOs (Genetically modified organisms) while we tossed the remnants in the ever-expanding dumpster of the human condition. We live in branded houses trademarked by corporations built on bipolar numbers jumping up and down on digital displays, hypnotizing us into the biggest slumber mankind has ever seen.
We live in a kingdom of bullshit, a kingdom you’ve lived in for far too long.
Text from Mr. Robot Season 1 Episode 10
